Welcome! - Bulletin for Sunday February 5th, 2012
Another Super Sunday; not because of the Super Bowl, but because of the opportunity you have to worship Jesus, and live for him today. We are a body of believers in Jesus who want to bring honor to Him in all we do. It is our desire that you would experience, in our service today, the love, comfort and encouragement that Jesus offers each of us. If you are unsure about what it means to be a follower of Jesus, it would be our delight to talk with you about that. After the service we would like to meet you!

You may even want to start your evening with dinner out or top it off by going out for dessert afterward. Come enjoy the evening and invite others to join us.

Ladies – Has cabin fever set in, winter doldrums got you down? Well, dust off your thimble and come to church Wednesday evening, February 8th from 6:30-8:30 for a Quilting Bee. We will be working, every other Wednesday evening, on a quilt from MCC (take a peek in the sewing room) and various other sewing projects. Come and be a part of AMC’s mission to provide school kits, health kits, sewing kits and beautiful warm comforters for those in need. Beginners welcome!! Any questions talk to Kim Atwell or Teresa Huston.

Each church family who has a child in Kid’s Klub is asked to bring a dessert (cookies, brownies, etc) to share.

How are you doing with your Bible reading goal? I have struggled to keep up the last month and a half. So, if you are struggling, don’t get down on yourself, you are not alone. But, don’t give up! Reading through the Bible at this pace has enabled me to see scriptures from different perspectives. Use your bulletin tab to let me know how it is going. – Pastor Phil.

Endowment Fund Applications are due by February 15th. If you have a school-aged child, grades 1-12, and would like to apply for the annual $50 stipend to aid in the Christian education of your child, then fill out the application and place it in Bill Strunk’s mailbox. If you need an application, see Luann.

Sister Care Seminar – Equipping Women for Caring Ministry is being held in Rochester Friday & Saturday, March 16, 17. See the registration forms by the mailboxes if you are interested. For more information, talk to Barb Moyer or Allison O’Connor.

Joelle Martin wishes to thank the congregation for their support. She now has all the funds she needs for her current assignment.
